2″ x 6’/7′ Offset Truck Lug Strap
Fisk Tank Carrier sells custom propane installation parts and accessories to complement our trucks and trailers. Our lug strap hoist is used for lifting tanks with a truck-mounted crane.
The 2″ x 6’/7′ offset truck lug strap features the following:
- Tough material: It is made of nylon and has a synthetic web sling for enhanced durability and efficiency.
- Working weight load limit: The synthetic web sling has varying weight load limits — at 60 degrees: 10,300 pounds; at 45 degrees: 8,400 pounds; and at 30 degrees: 6,000 pounds.
- Common application: Includes lifting propane tanks and other heavy equipment using a crane to position them on or off a truck. The crane is mounted on the truck for easier mobility and reach.
When loading, the strap is lifted on the lugs of a 1,000-gallon or smaller propane tank operated by a remote-controlled truck-mounted crane. Non-remote-controlled cranes allow better tank control when loading them with the offset straps.
